PASS PLUS consists of a minimum of six hours training. The emphasis is on developing your practical driving skills.
PASS PLUS is a training scheme for new drivers. Its sole aim is to improve your driving skills - making you a safer driver. It can also lead to insurance discounts: usually 1 year's no claims bonus as soon as you insure your own car, which could cover the cost of the training! Remember, you save in subsequent years too!
The scheme has been designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), with the help of the motor insurance industries, to develop your skill and knowledge in areas where you may have limited experience, in town, on rural roads, in all weathers, on dual carriageways and motorways, in the dark.
THERE IS NO TEST AT THE END instead, you’ll be assessed throughout: you must cover all the modules to complete the training.
